How To Install python-nose2 on Ubuntu 18.04

At an extended level, nose2 also provides a lot of builtin plugins to help with specific needs, including tests coverage, profiling, or doctests.
Nose2 is based on the Nose testsuite, which is no longer developed. It provides a better plugin API and supports Python2 and Python3 from the same codebase.
This package provides the python2 version of nose2.
There are three methods to install python-nose2 on Ubuntu 18.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install python-nose2 Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install python-nose2 using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install python-nose2

To uninstall only the python-nose2 package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove python-nose2
Uninstall python-nose2 And Its Dependencies
To uninstall python-nose2 and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu 18.04, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove python-nose2
Remove python-nose2 Configurations and Data
To remove python-nose2 configuration and data from Ubuntu 18.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge python-nose2
Remove python-nose2 configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove python-nose2 configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
