How To Install python-macholib on Ubuntu 18.04

This module can be used to analyze and edit Mach-O headers, the executable format used by Mac OS X. It’s typically used as a dependency analysis tool, and also to rewrite dylib references in Mach-O headers to be @executable_path relative. Though this tool targets a platform specific file format, it is pure Python code that is platform and endian independent.
This package provides the Python 2.x module.
There are three methods to install python-macholib on Ubuntu 18.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install python-macholib Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install python-macholib using apt-get by running the following command:

To remove python-macholib configuration and data from Ubuntu 18.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge python-macholib
