What is python-expiringdict

python-expiringdict is:

expiringdict is a Python caching library, providing an ordered dictionary with auto-expiring values for caching purposes. Expiration happens on any access, object is locked during cleanup from expired values. ExpiringDict stores at most a maximum number of elements - the oldest will be deleted.

This is the Python 2 version of this package.

There are three methods to install python-expiringdict on Ubuntu 18.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install python-expiringdict Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
