How To Install python-ecasound on Debian 9

python-ecasound is:
Ecasound is a software package designed for multitrack audio processing. It can be used for simple tasks like audio playback, recording and format conversions, as well as for multitrack effect processing, mixing, recording and signal recycling.
Ecasound supports a wide range of audio inputs, outputs and effect algorithms. Effects and audio objects can be combined in various ways, and their parameters can be controlled by operator objects like oscillators and MIDI-CCs.
This package provides ecasound’s Python bindings.
There are three methods to install python-ecasound on Debian 9. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install python-ecasound Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install python-ecasound using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install python-ecasound

Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install python-ecasound using apt by running the following command:

Install python-ecasound Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Debian. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install python-ecasound using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install python-ecasound
How To Uninstall python-ecasound on Debian 9
To uninstall only the python-ecasound package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove python-ecasound
Uninstall python-ecasound And Its Dependencies
To uninstall python-ecasound and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Debian 9, we can use the command below:
