python-dmidecode is:

DMI (the desktop management interface) provides a standardized description of a computer’s hardware, including characteristics such as BIOS serial number and hardware connectors.

This package provides an interface to the DMI data available from the BIOS. It is intended to be used as a back-end tool by other hardware detection programs implemented in Python.

There are three methods to install python-dmidecode on Ubuntu 18.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
