It is a small pure Python module that works on virtually all Python versions, including CPython2.3 to Python3.1, Jython and PyPy. To uninstall python-apipkg and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu 18.04, we can use the command below:

sudo apt-get -y autoremove python-apipkg

To remove python-apipkg configuration and data from Ubuntu 18.04 we can use the following command:

sudo apt-get -y purge python-apipkg
