prosper is:

Prosper is a LaTeX class for writing transparencies. It is written on top of the seminar class by Timothy Van Zandt. It aims at offering an environment for easily creating slides for both presentations with an overhead projector and a video projector. Slides prepared for a presentation with a computer and a video projector may integrate animation effects, incremental display, and such.

There are three methods to install prosper on Debian 9. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install prosper Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update

After updating apt database, We can install prosper using apt-get by running the following command:

sudo apt-get -y install prosper

Update apt database with apt using the following command.

After updating apt database, We can install prosper using apt by running the following command:
