How To Install prosper on Debian 9

What is prosper
prosper is:
Prosper is a LaTeX class for writing transparencies. It is written on top of the seminar class by Timothy Van Zandt. It aims at offering an environment for easily creating slides for both presentations with an overhead projector and a video projector. Slides prepared for a presentation with a computer and a video projector may integrate animation effects, incremental display, and such.
There are three methods to install prosper
on Debian 9. We can use apt-get
, apt
and aptitude
. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install prosper Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install prosper
using apt-get
by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install prosper
Install prosper Using apt
Update apt database with apt
using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install prosper
using apt
by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install prosper
Install prosper Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Debian. Update apt database with aptitude
using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install prosper

How To Uninstall prosper on Debian 9
To uninstall only the prosper
package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove prosper

sudo apt-get -y autoremove prosper
Remove prosper Configurations and Data
