How To Install project-x on Ubuntu 20.04

on Ubuntu 20.04.
What is project-x
project-x is:
European digital radio & television uses the DVB standard to broadcast its data. Project X gives you a look behind the transmissions and tries its best to handle & repair many stream types and shows what went wrong on reception.
There are three methods to install project-x
on Ubuntu 20.04. We can use apt-get
, apt
and aptitude
. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install project-x Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install project-x
using apt-get
by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install project-x
Install project-x Using apt
Update apt database with apt
using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install project-x
using apt
by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install project-x
Install project-x Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude

After updating apt database, We can install project-x

How To Uninstall project-x on Ubuntu 20.04
To uninstall only the project-x

sudo apt-get -y autoremove project-x
Remove project-x Configurations and Data
To remove project-x
configuration and data from Ubuntu 20.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge project-x
Remove project-x configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
