How To Install postgresql-12-pgpool2 on Ubuntu 20.04

pgpool-II is a middleware that works between PostgreSQL servers and a PostgreSQL database client. This package contains support modules for the PostgreSQL 12 server:

- pgpool_regclass (PostgreSQL 9.1 and above)

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
