This package contains perl scripts pflogsumm and qshape. Pflogsumm is a log analyzer/summarizer for the Postfix MTA. It is designed to provide an over-view of Postfix activity. Pflogsumm generates summaries and, in some cases, detailed reports of mail server traffic volumes, rejected and bounced email, and server warnings, errors and panics. qshape prints Postfix queue domain and age distribution.
We can use yum
or dnf
to install postfix-perl-scripts
on Rocky Linux 8. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install postfix-perl-scripts.

Update yum database with dnf
using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install postfix-perl-scripts
using dnf
by running the following command:

Update yum database with yum

sudo yum makecache --refresh

To uninstall only the postfix-perl-scripts
package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove postfix-perl-scripts
