How To Install perl-HTTP-Tiny on Rocky Linux 8

What is perl-HTTP-Tiny
This is a very simple HTTP/1.1 client, designed for doing simple GET requests without the overhead of a large framework like LWP It is more correct and more complete than HTTP (currently only non-authenticating ones) and redirection. It also correctly resumes after EINTR.
We can use yum or dnf to install perl-HTTP-Tiny on Rocky Linux 8. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install perl-HTTP-Tiny.
Install perl-HTTP-Tiny on Rocky Linux 8 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install perl-HTTP-Tiny using dnf by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install perl-HTTP-Tiny
Install perl-HTTP-Tiny on Rocky Linux 8 Using yum
Update yum database with yum using the following command.
sudo yum makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install perl-HTTP-Tiny using yum by running the following command:
sudo yum -y install perl-HTTP-Tiny
How To Uninstall perl-HTTP-Tiny on Rocky Linux 8
To uninstall only the perl-HTTP-Tiny package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove perl-HTTP-Tiny
