This is the Osmocom (Open Source Mobile Communications) implementation of a Signaling Transfer Point (STP) for SS7/SIGTRAN telecommunication networks. At this point it is a very minimal implementation, missing lots of the functionality usually present in a STP, such as Global Title Routing, Global Title Translation.

There are three methods to install osmo-stp on Debian 10. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install osmo-stp Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update
