How To Install openboard-contrib on Kali Linux

In this tutorial we learn how to install openboard-contrib on Kali Linux.
What is openboard-contrib
openboard-contrib is:
OpenBoard is an open source cross-platform interactive white board application designed primarily for use in schools.
It was originally forked from Open-Sankor?, which was itself based on Uniboard.
This package pulls in some contributions that are nice to have in OpenBoard, but have problematic licenses (and are, thus, shipped as part of Debian non-free).
There are three methods to install openboard-contrib on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install openboard-contrib Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install openboard-contrib using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install openboard-contribInstall openboard-contrib Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
