What is octave-openems

octave-openems is:

This package contains the octave-files needed for openEMS. The are installed such that they can be used after running “pkg load openems” or “pkg load csxcad”.

openEMS is a simulator for electromagnetic problems using the FDTD algorithm.

There are three methods to install octave-openems on Ubuntu 20.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install octave-openems Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update

After updating apt database, We can install octave-openems using apt-get by running the following command:
