How To Install nova-compute-qemu on Kali Linux

What is nova-compute-qemu

OpenStack is a reliable cloud infrastructure. Its mission is to produce the ubiquitous cloud computing platform that will meet the needs of public and private cloud providers regardless of size, by being simple to implement and massively scalable.
OpenStack Compute, codenamed Nova, is a cloud computing fabric controller designed to be modular and easy to extend and adapt. In addition to its “native” OpenStack API, it also supports the Amazon EC2 API, and it supports many different database backends (including SQLite, MySQL, and PostgreSQL), hypervisors (KVM, Xen), and user directory systems (LDAP, SQL).
This is a dependency package for compute nodes using QEmu.
There are three methods to install nova-compute-qemu on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install nova-compute-qemu Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install nova-compute-qemu using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install nova-compute-qemuInstall nova-compute-qemu Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.

sudo apt-get -y autoremove nova-compute-qemuRemove nova-compute-qemu Configurations and Data
To remove nova-compute-qemu configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge nova-compute-qemuRemove nova-compute-qemu configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove nova-compute-qemu configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge nova-compute-qemuDependencies
