How To Install node-mustache on Ubuntu 20.04

on Ubuntu 20.04.
What is node-mustache
node-mustache is:
Inspired by ctemplate, Mustache is a framework-agnostic way to render logic-free views. (As in model-view-controller.)
As ctemplates says, “It emphasizes separating logic from presentation: it is impossible to embed application logic in this template language.”
This package provides the Mustache rendering engine for NodeJS, and the `mustache’ command-line tool.
There are three methods to install node-mustache
on Ubuntu 20.04. We can use apt-get
, apt
and aptitude
. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install node-mustache Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install node-mustache
using apt-get
by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install node-mustache
Install node-mustache Using apt
Update apt database with apt
using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install node-mustache
using apt
by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install node-mustache
Install node-mustache Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude
using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install node-mustache
using aptitude
by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install node-mustache
How To Uninstall node-mustache on Ubuntu 20.04
To uninstall only the node-mustache
package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove node-mustache
Uninstall node-mustache And Its Dependencies
To uninstall node-mustache
and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu 20.04, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove node-mustache
Remove node-mustache Configurations and Data
To remove node-mustache
configuration and data from Ubuntu 20.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge node-mustache
Remove node-mustache configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove node-mustache
configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge node-mustache
