What is node-mbtiles

node-mbtiles is:

node-mbtiles implements the tilelive API and as such is a registerable tilestore URI protocol handler for writing to MBTiles format.

MBTiles is a specification for storing tiled map data in SQLite databases for immediate usage and for transfer.

node-tilelive is an interface for tile backends for Node.js.

Node.js is an event-based server-side javascript engine.

There are three methods to install node-mbtiles on Debian 9. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install node-mbtiles Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update
