nitrocli provides access to the password safe, the encrypted storage and the one-time password generator on Nitrokey Pro and Nitrokey Storage devices. It can also be used to manage the device configuration and PINs.

This package contains the following binaries built from the Rust crate “nitrocli”:

There are three methods to install nitrocli on Debian 10. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install nitrocli Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update
