How To Install nextgen-yum4 on Kali Linux

What is nextgen-yum4

nextgen-yum4 is:

Package manager forked from Yum, using libsolv as a dependency resolver.

This package installs a Yum CLI compatibility layer redirecting /usr/bin/yum4 to DNF.

There are three methods to install nextgen-yum4 on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install nextgen-yum4 Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update

After updating apt database, We can install nextgen-yum4 using apt-get by running the following command:

Update apt database with apt using the following command.
