How To Install nextepc-hss on Ubuntu 20.04

What is nextepc-hss
nextepc-hss is:
NextEPC is a C-language Open Source implementation of the 3GPP Evolved Packet Core, i.e. the core network of an LTE network.
This package provides the HSS (Home Subscriber Server) element of the EPC, i.e. the central database of mobile network subscribers, with their IMSI, MSISDN, cryptographic key materials, service subscription information, etc. It implements the S6a interface towards the MME using the DIAMETER protocol.
There are three methods to install nextepc-hss on Ubuntu 20.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install nextepc-hss Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install nextepc-hss using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install nextepc-hss
Install nextepc-hss Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install nextepc-hss using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install nextepc-hss
Install nextepc-hss Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install nextepc-hss using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install nextepc-hss
How To Uninstall nextepc-hss on Ubuntu 20.04
