How To Install mumble-dbg on Debian 9

mumble-dbg is:
Mumble is a low-latency, high quality voice chat program for gaming. It features noise suppression, encrypted connections for both voice and instant messaging, automatic gain control and low latency audio with support for multiple audio standards. Mumble includes an in-game overlay compatible with most open-source and commercial 3D applications. Mumble is just a client and uses a non-standard protocol. You will need a dedicated server to talk to other users. Server functionality is provided by the package “mumble-server”.
This package contains the debugging symbols for the ‘mumble’ and ‘mumble-server’ packages.
There are three methods to install mumble-dbg on Debian 9. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install mumble-dbg Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install mumble-dbg using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install mumble-dbg

Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install mumble-dbg using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install mumble-dbg
Install mumble-dbg Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Debian. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install mumble-dbg using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install mumble-dbg
How To Uninstall mumble-dbg on Debian 9
To uninstall only the mumble-dbg package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove mumble-dbg
Uninstall mumble-dbg And Its Dependencies
To uninstall mumble-dbg and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Debian 9, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove mumble-dbg
Remove mumble-dbg Configurations and Data
To remove mumble-dbg configuration and data from Debian 9 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge mumble-dbg
