How To Install muffin-doc on Ubuntu 18.04

What is muffin-doc
muffin-doc is:
Muffin is a small window manager performing compositing as well based on GTK+ and Clutter and used in desktop environment such as Cinnamon.
It is fairly extensible by the mean of plugins, providing new or customized visual effects as well as a flexibility in the behavior of the window manager.
This package contains the documentation files distributed with Cinnamon.
There are three methods to install muffin-doc
on Ubuntu 18.04. We can use apt-get
, apt
and aptitude

Install muffin-doc Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install muffin-doc
using apt-get
by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install muffin-doc

Update apt database with apt
using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install muffin-doc
using apt
by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install muffin-doc
Install muffin-doc Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude
using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install muffin-doc
using aptitude

sudo aptitude -y install muffin-doc
How To Uninstall muffin-doc on Ubuntu 18.04
To uninstall only the muffin-doc
package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove muffin-doc

To uninstall muffin-doc
and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu 18.04, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove muffin-doc

To remove muffin-doc
configuration and data from Ubuntu 18.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge muffin-doc
