How To Install lua-rings on Debian 12

In this tutorial we learn how to install lua-rings
on Debian 12.
What is lua-rings
lua-rings is:
Rings is a library which provides a way to create new Lua states from within Lua. It also offers a simple way to communicate between the creator (master) and the created (slave) states.
This mechanism can be used to run chunks of code in an isolated Lua state, obtaining what is usually called a sandbox.
There are three methods to install lua-rings
on Debian 12. We can use apt-get
, apt
and aptitude
. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
