How To Install love-doc on Ubuntu 18.04

What is love-doc
love-doc is:
LÖVE was created to be a user-friendly engine in which simple (or complicated) games could be made without having extensive knowledge of system or graphics functions and without having to dedicate time towards developing the same engine features time and time again.
Developed with cross-platform implementation in mind, it utilizes the latest open source libraries to deliver a similar game experience, independent of operating system. By relying on the Lua scripting language for game-specific programming, it allows even the novice game creator to quickly and efficiently develop an idea into a fully working game.
This package includes the Reference Manual for LÖVE.
There are three methods to install love-doc on Ubuntu 18.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install love-doc Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install love-doc using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install love-doc
Install love-doc Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install love-doc using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install love-doc
Install love-doc Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install love-doc using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install love-doc
How To Uninstall love-doc on Ubuntu 18.04
To uninstall only the love-doc package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove love-doc
Uninstall love-doc And Its Dependencies
To uninstall love-doc and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu 18.04, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove love-doc
Remove love-doc Configurations and Data
To remove love-doc configuration and data from Ubuntu 18.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge love-doc
Remove love-doc configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove love-doc configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge love-doc
