How To Install lockfile-progs on Kali Linux

These programs use liblockfile to perform the file locking and unlocking, so they are guaranteed compatible with Debian’s file locking policies.
There are three methods to install lockfile-progs on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install lockfile-progs Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
