How To Install libuv1-dbg on Debian 9

In this tutorial we learn how to install libuv1-dbg
on Debian 9.
What is libuv1-dbg
libuv1-dbg is:
Libuv is the asynchronous library behind Node.js. Very similar to libevent or libev, it provides the main elements for event driven systems: watching and waiting for availability in a set of sockets, and some other events like timers or asynchronous messages. However, libuv also comes with some other extras like:
- files watchers and asynchronous operations
- a portable TCP and UDP API, as well as asynchronous DNS resolution
- processes and threads management, and a portable inter-process communications mechanism, with pipes and work queues
- a plugins mechanism for loading libraries dynamically
- interface with external libraries that also need to access the I/O.
This package provides the debugging symbols for the library.
There are three methods to install libuv1-dbg
on Debian 9. We can use apt-get

and aptitude

Install libuv1-dbg Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get

sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install libuv1-dbg

How To Uninstall libuv1-dbg on Debian 9
To uninstall only the libuv1-dbg
package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove libuv1-dbg

To uninstall libuv1-dbg
and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Debian 9, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove libuv1-dbg
Remove libuv1-dbg Configurations and Data
To remove libuv1-dbg
configuration and data from Debian 9 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge libuv1-dbg
Remove libuv1-dbg configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove libuv1-dbg
