What is libtr-tid2

libtr-tid2 is:

Moonshot allows services using GSS-API applications to gain federated access to identities provided by other organizations. Moonshot uses EAP and RADIUS over TLS for authentication and federation and SAML for enhanced attribute exchange.

This package provides the trust router’s Temporary Identity Protocol client and server library. The trust router provides authenticated key exchange so that RADIUS proxies in one organization can connect to RADIUS servers (providing identities) in another organization.

There are three methods to install libtr-tid2 on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install libtr-tid2 Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update

After updating apt database, We can install libtr-tid2 using apt-get by running the following command:

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.

sudo aptitude update

After updating apt database, We can install libtr-tid2 using aptitude by running the following command:

sudo aptitude -y install libtr-tid2
