What is libtf-dev

libtf-dev is:

tf is a package that lets the user keep track of multiple coordinate frames over time. tf maintains the relationship between coordinate frames in a tree structure buffered in time, and lets the user transform points, vectors, etc between any two coordinate frames at any desired point in time.

This package contains the development files of tf library.

There are three methods to install libtf-dev on Ubuntu 18.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install libtf-dev Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update

After updating apt database, We can install libtf-dev using apt-get by running the following command:

sudo apt-get -y install libtf-dev

Update apt database with apt using the following command.

sudo apt update
