How To Install libsx-dev on Kali Linux

In this tutorial we learn how to install libsx-dev on Kali Linux.
What is libsx-dev
libsx-dev is:
Libsx (the Simple X library) is a library of code that sits on top of and to the side of the Athena widget set. Its purpose is to make writing X applications much easier.
This package contains header files, pkgconfig files and static libraries for libsx.
There are three methods to install libsx-dev on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install libsx-dev Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install libsx-dev using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install libsx-devInstall libsx-dev Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install libsx-dev using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install libsx-devInstall libsx-dev Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude updateAfter updating apt database, We can install libsx-dev using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install libsx-devHow To Uninstall libsx-dev on Kali Linux
To uninstall only the libsx-dev package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove libsx-devUninstall libsx-dev And Its Dependencies
To uninstall libsx-dev and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove libsx-devRemove libsx-dev Configurations and Data
To remove libsx-dev configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge libsx-devRemove libsx-dev configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove libsx-dev configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
