What is libsimavr1

libsimavr1 is:

A library for advanced AVR core and peripheral circuitry prototyping including AVR firmware simulated execution, VCD waveform creation and live debugging. For more information see virtual circuitry peripheral prototyping and simulation examples provided by libsimavr-examples package.

This package contains shared library providing AVR simulation functionality.

There are three methods to install libsimavr1 on Ubuntu 18.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install libsimavr1 Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update

After updating apt database, We can install libsimavr1 using apt-get by running the following command:

sudo apt-get -y install libsimavr1

Install libsimavr1 Using apt

Update apt database with apt using the following command.

sudo apt update

After updating apt database, We can install libsimavr1 using apt by running the following command:
