How To Install libsbml5-dev on Kali Linux

In this tutorial we learn how to install libsbml5-dev on Kali Linux.
What is libsbml5-dev
libsbml5-dev is:
LibSBML is a library designed to help you read, write, manipulate, translate, and validate SBML files and data streams. It is not an application itself (though it does come with many example programs), but rather a library you can embed in your own applications.
This package contains files necessary for development with libsbml.
There are three methods to install libsbml5-dev on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install libsbml5-dev Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install libsbml5-dev using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install libsbml5-devInstall libsbml5-dev Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install libsbml5-dev using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install libsbml5-devInstall libsbml5-dev Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude updateAfter updating apt database, We can install libsbml5-dev using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install libsbml5-devHow To Uninstall libsbml5-dev on Kali Linux
To uninstall only the libsbml5-dev package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove libsbml5-devUninstall libsbml5-dev And Its Dependencies
To uninstall libsbml5-dev and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove libsbml5-devRemove libsbml5-dev Configurations and Data
To remove libsbml5-dev configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge libsbml5-devRemove libsbml5-dev configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove libsbml5-dev configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge libsbml5-devDependencies
