How To Install libsane-dbg on Debian 9

What is libsane-dbg
libsane-dbg is:
SANE stands for “Scanner Access Now Easy” and is an application programming interface (API) that provides standardized access to any raster image scanner hardware (flatbed scanner, hand-held scanner, video- and still-cameras, frame-grabbers, etc.). The SANE standard is free and its discussion and development are open to everybody. The current source code is written to support several operating systems, including GNU/Linux, OS/2, Win32 and various Unices and is available under the GNU General Public License (commercial applications and backends are welcome, too, however).
This package contains the debugging symbols for the SANE backends.
There are three methods to install libsane-dbg
on Debian 9. We can use apt-get

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Debian. Update apt database with aptitude
using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install libsane-dbg
using aptitude
by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install libsane-dbg
How To Uninstall libsane-dbg on Debian 9
To uninstall only the libsane-dbg
package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove libsane-dbg
Uninstall libsane-dbg And Its Dependencies
To uninstall libsane-dbg
and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Debian 9, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove libsane-dbg
Remove libsane-dbg Configurations and Data
To remove libsane-dbg
configuration and data from Debian 9 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge libsane-dbg
