This package contains the localization of LibreOffice in Arabic. It contains the user interface, the templates and the autotext features. (please note that not all this is available for all possible languages). You can switch user interface language using the locales system.
Spelling dictionaries, hyphenation patterns, thesauri and help are not included in this package. There are some available in separate packages (myspell-, hyphen-, mythes-, libreoffice-help-)
If you just want to be able to spellcheck etc. in other languages, you can install extra dictionaries/hyphenation patterns/thesauri independently of the language packs.

There are three methods to install libreoffice-l10n-ar
on Ubuntu 20.04. We can use apt-get

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude

sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install libreoffice-l10n-ar

How To Uninstall libreoffice-l10n-ar on Ubuntu 20.04
To uninstall only the libreoffice-l10n-ar

and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu 20.04, we can use the command below:

To remove libreoffice-l10n-ar
configuration and data from Ubuntu 20.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge libreoffice-l10n-ar
