What is libpython-dev
libpython-dev is:
Header files, a static library and development tools for building Python2 modules, extending the Python2 interpreter or embedding Python2 in applications.
This package is a dependency package, which depends on Debian’s Python2 version (currently v2.7).
There are three methods to install libpython-dev on Debian 10. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install libpython-dev Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
