How To Install libpjmedia-codec2 on Ubuntu 18.04

PJSIP (a.k.a PJProject) is a multimedia communication library written in C language implementing standard based protocols such as SIP, SDP, RTP, STUN, TURN, and ICE. It combines signaling protocol (SIP) with rich multimedia framework and NAT traversal functionality into high level API that is portable and suitable for almost any type of systems ranging from desktops, embedded systems, to mobile handsets.
This package includes a multimedia codecs handling library.

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.

To remove libpjmedia-codec2 configuration and data from Ubuntu 18.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge libpjmedia-codec2
Remove libpjmedia-codec2 configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove libpjmedia-codec2 configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge libpjmedia-codec2
