How To Install libpam-cgfs on Ubuntu 20.04

What is libpam-cgfs
libpam-cgfs is:
Containers are insulated areas inside a system, which have their own namespace for filesystem, network, PID, IPC, CPU and memory allocation and which can be created using the Control Group and Namespace features included in the Linux kernel.
This provides a Pluggable Authentication Module (PAM) to provide logged-in users with a set of cgroups which they can administer. This allows for instance unprivileged containers, and session management using cgroup process tracking.

There are three methods to install libpam-cgfs
on Ubuntu 20.04. We can use apt-get

and aptitude

Install libpam-cgfs Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install libpam-cgfs
using apt-get
by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install libpam-cgfs
Install libpam-cgfs Using apt
Update apt database with apt
using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install libpam-cgfs
using apt
by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install libpam-cgfs
Install libpam-cgfs Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude
using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install libpam-cgfs
using aptitude
by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install libpam-cgfs
How To Uninstall libpam-cgfs on Ubuntu 20.04
To uninstall only the libpam-cgfs
package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove libpam-cgfs
Uninstall libpam-cgfs And Its Dependencies
To uninstall libpam-cgfs
and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu 20.04, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove libpam-cgfs
Remove libpam-cgfs Configurations and Data
To remove libpam-cgfs
configuration and data from Ubuntu 20.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge libpam-cgfs
Remove libpam-cgfs configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove libpam-cgfs
