How To Install libow-tcl on Kali Linux

What is libow-tcl

The 1-Wire bus is a cheap low-speed bus for devices like weather sensors, access control, etc. It can be attached to your system via serial, USB, I2C, and other interfaces.
This package contains Tcl bindings to the OWFS core library (libow), which is used to access 1-Wire networks
There are three methods to install libow-tcl on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install libow-tcl Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install libow-tcl using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install libow-tclInstall libow-tcl Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install libow-tcl using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install libow-tclInstall libow-tcl Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude updateAfter updating apt database, We can install libow-tcl using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install libow-tclHow To Uninstall libow-tcl on Kali Linux
To uninstall only the libow-tcl package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove libow-tclUninstall libow-tcl And Its Dependencies
To uninstall libow-tcl and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove libow-tclRemove libow-tcl Configurations and Data
To remove libow-tcl configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge libow-tclRemove libow-tcl configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
