What is libotb-apps
libotb-apps is:
ORFEO Toolbox (OTB) is distributed as an open source library of image processing algorithms. OTB is based on the medical image processing library ITK and offers particular functionalities for remote sensing image processing in general and for high spatial resolution images in particular.
This package contains the application plugins used by otb-bin(commandline) and otb-bin-qt(gui).
There are three methods to install libotb-apps
on Debian 10. We can use apt-get

and aptitude

Update apt database with apt-get

After updating apt database, We can install libotb-apps

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Debian. Update apt database with aptitude
using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install libotb-apps
using aptitude

sudo aptitude -y install libotb-apps
How To Uninstall libotb-apps on Debian 10
To uninstall only the libotb-apps
package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove libotb-apps
