How To Install libjs-ie7 on Ubuntu 18.04

What is libjs-ie7
libjs-ie7 is:
IE7.js is a JavaScript library to make Microsoft Internet Explorer behave like a standards-compliant browser. It fixes many HTML and CSS issues and makes transparent PNG work correctly under IE5 and IE6.
This package is mainly provided for use by existing projects already using IE7.js. For other uses, the separately packaged Modernizr (with its embedded html5shim/html5shiv) may be a better choice.
There are three methods to install libjs-ie7 on Ubuntu 18.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install libjs-ie7 using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install libjs-ie7
How To Uninstall libjs-ie7 on Ubuntu 18.04
To uninstall only the libjs-ie7 package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove libjs-ie7

To uninstall libjs-ie7 and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu 18.04, we can use the command below:

To remove libjs-ie7 configuration and data from Ubuntu 18.04 we can use the following command:

We can use the following command to remove libjs-ie7 configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
