How To Install libjs-dompurify on Ubuntu 18.04

What is libjs-dompurify
libjs-dompurify is:
DOMPurify is a DOM-only, super-fast, uber-tolerant XSS sanitizer for HTML, MathML and SVG. It’s also very simple to use and get started with. DOMPurify is written in JavaScript and works in all modern browsers (Safari, Opera (15+), Internet Explorer (10+), Edge, Firefox and Chrome - as well as almost anything else using Blink or WebKit). It doesn’t break on IE6 or other legacy browsers. It simply does nothing there.
This package contains the Javascript library.
There are three methods to install libjs-dompurify
on Ubuntu 18.04. We can use apt-get

Install libjs-dompurify Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install libjs-dompurify
using apt-get

Update apt database with apt
using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install libjs-dompurify

sudo apt -y install libjs-dompurify
Install libjs-dompurify Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude
using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install libjs-dompurify
using aptitude
by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install libjs-dompurify
How To Uninstall libjs-dompurify on Ubuntu 18.04
To uninstall only the libjs-dompurify
package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove libjs-dompurify
Uninstall libjs-dompurify And Its Dependencies
To uninstall libjs-dompurify
and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu 18.04, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove libjs-dompurify
Remove libjs-dompurify Configurations and Data
To remove libjs-dompurify
configuration and data from Ubuntu 18.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge libjs-dompurify
Remove libjs-dompurify configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove libjs-dompurify
configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge libjs-dompurify
