What is libgtp3

libgtp3 is:

OsmoGGSN is a Gateway GPRS Support Node (GGSN). It is used by mobile operators as the interface between the Internet and the rest of the mobile network infrastructure.

This library is part of OsmoGGSN and implements the GTP protocol between SGSN (Serving GPRS support node) and GGSN.

There are three methods to install libgtp3 on Ubuntu 20.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install libgtp3 Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update

After updating apt database, We can install libgtp3 using apt-get by running the following command:

sudo apt-get -y install libgtp3

Update apt database with apt using the following command.

sudo apt update

After updating apt database, We can install libgtp3 using apt by running the following command:

Install libgtp3 Using aptitude

After updating apt database, We can install libgtp3 using aptitude by running the following command:

To uninstall only the libgtp3 package we can use the following command:

sudo apt-get remove libgtp3

To uninstall libgtp3 and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu 20.04, we can use the command below:

sudo apt-get -y autoremove libgtp3

Remove libgtp3 Configurations and Data

To remove libgtp3 configuration and data from Ubuntu 20.04 we can use the following command:

sudo apt-get -y purge libgtp3

We can use the following command to remove libgtp3 configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
