How To Install libgmt-dev on Kali Linux

These set of libraries allow manipulating geographic and Cartesian data sets (including filtering, trend fitting, gridding, projecting, etc.) and producing Encapsulated PostScript File (EPS) illustrations ranging from simple x-y plots via contour maps to artificially illuminated surfaces and 3-D perspective views.
This package contains the files used for development of programs that use the GMT libraries (headers).
There are three methods to install libgmt-dev on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install libgmt-dev Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install libgmt-dev using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install libgmt-devInstall libgmt-dev Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install libgmt-dev using apt by running the following command:

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.

To uninstall only the libgmt-dev package we can use the following command:
