How To Install libfcft-doc on Kali Linux
Introduction
In this tutorial we learn how to install libfcft-doc on Kali Linux.
What is libfcft-doc
libfcft-doc is:
fcft is a small font loading and glyph rasterization library built on-top of FontConfig, FreeType2 and pixman.
It can load and cache fonts from a fontconfig-formatted name string, e.g. Monospace:size=12, optionally with user configured fallback fonts.
After a font has been loaded, you can rasterize glyphs. When doing so, the primary font is first considered. If it does not have the requested glyph, the user configured fallback fonts (if any) are considered. If none of the user configured fallback fonts has the requested glyph, the FontConfig generated list of fallback fonts are checked.

There are three methods to install libfcft-doc on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install libfcft-doc Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install libfcft-doc using apt-get by running the following command:

Update apt database with apt using the following command.

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.

To uninstall only the libfcft-doc package we can use the following command:

To uninstall libfcft-doc and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove libfcft-docRemove libfcft-doc Configurations and Data
To remove libfcft-doc configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge libfcft-docRemove libfcft-doc configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
