How To Install libdpm-dev on Debian 9

What is libdpm-dev
libdpm-dev is:
The LCG Disk Pool Manager (DPM) creates a storage element from a set of disks. It provides several interfaces for storing and retrieving data such as RFIO and SRM version 1, version 2 and version 2.2. This package contains the development libraries and header files for DPM.
There are three methods to install libdpm-dev on Debian 9. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install libdpm-dev Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install libdpm-dev using apt-get by running the following command:

Update apt database with apt using the following command.

After updating apt database, We can install libdpm-dev using apt by running the following command:

Install libdpm-dev Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Debian. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install libdpm-dev using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install libdpm-dev

To uninstall only the libdpm-dev package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove libdpm-dev
