What is iptstate
IP Tables State (iptstate) was originally written to implement the “state top” feature of IP Filter in IP Tables. “State top” displays the states held by your stateful firewall in a top-like manner. or dnf
to install iptstate

Install iptstate on Rocky Linux 8 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf
using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install iptstate
using dnf
by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install iptstate
Install iptstate on Rocky Linux 8 Using yum
Update yum database with yum
using the following command.
sudo yum makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install iptstate
using yum
by running the following command:
sudo yum -y install iptstate
How To Uninstall iptstate on Rocky Linux 8
To uninstall only the iptstate
package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove iptstate
