How To Install ike-qtgui on Ubuntu 18.04

The Shrew Soft VPN Client is a free IPsec VPN Client for FreeBSD, NetBSD, Linux and Windows operating systems. This product can be used to communicate with Open Source VPN servers (e.g. ipsec-tools) as well as some commercial VPN servers.
This package provides the connection manager program, which allows one to create, manage and use VPN connections.
There are three methods to install ike-qtgui on Ubuntu 18.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install ike-qtgui Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install ike-qtgui using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install ike-qtgui

Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install ike-qtgui using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install ike-qtgui
Install ike-qtgui Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install ike-qtgui using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install ike-qtgui
How To Uninstall ike-qtgui on Ubuntu 18.04
To uninstall only the ike-qtgui package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove ike-qtgui
Uninstall ike-qtgui And Its Dependencies
To uninstall ike-qtgui and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu 18.04, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove ike-qtgui
Remove ike-qtgui Configurations and Data
To remove ike-qtgui configuration and data from Ubuntu 18.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge ike-qtgui
Remove ike-qtgui configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove ike-qtgui configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
