HOMER5 a robust, carrier-grade, scalable SIP Capture system and Monitoring Application with HEP/HEP2, IP Proto4 (IPIP) encapsulation & port mirroring/monitoring support right out of the box, ready to process & store insane amounts of signaling with instant search, end-to-end analysis and drill-down capabilities for ITSPs, VoIP Providers and Trunk Suppliers using SIP signaling.

This package provides the API for handling data aggregated from the capture agent(s).

There are three methods to install homer-api on Debian 9. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install homer-api Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update

After updating apt database, We can install homer-api using apt-get by running the following command:
