How To Install guile-library on Ubuntu 20.04

on Ubuntu 20.04.
What is guile-library
guile-library is:
A set of various-purpose library modules for Guile. Covered areas include:

There are three methods to install guile-library
on Ubuntu 20.04. We can use apt-get

and aptitude

Install guile-library Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install guile-library
using apt-get
by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install guile-library

Update apt database with apt

sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install guile-library
using apt

sudo apt -y install guile-library
Install guile-library Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude
using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install guile-library
using aptitude
by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install guile-library
How To Uninstall guile-library on Ubuntu 20.04
To uninstall only the guile-library
package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove guile-library
Uninstall guile-library And Its Dependencies
To uninstall guile-library
and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu 20.04, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove guile-library
Remove guile-library Configurations and Data
To remove guile-library
configuration and data from Ubuntu 20.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge guile-library
Remove guile-library configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove guile-library
configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge guile-library
