GRR Rapid Response is an incident response framework focused on remote live forensics. It consists of an agent (client) that is installed on target systems, and server infrastructure that can manage and talk to the agent.

There are three methods to install grr-server on Ubuntu 18.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install grr-server Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update
