How To Install fxt-tools on Ubuntu 18.04

What is fxt-tools
fxt-tools is:
FxT is a library and associated tools that can be used to analyze the performance of multithreaded programs which can potentially use a hybrid thread scheduler (i.e. a user-level scheduler on top of a kernel-level one). The Marcel thread library can take full profit from this library.
FxT is based on the offline analysis of traces (sequence of events recorded at run time).
This package contains tools.
There are three methods to install fxt-tools
on Ubuntu 18.04. We can use apt-get

and aptitude

Install fxt-tools Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install fxt-tools
using apt-get
by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install fxt-tools

using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install fxt-tools

by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install fxt-tools
Install fxt-tools Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude
using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install fxt-tools
using aptitude
by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install fxt-tools
How To Uninstall fxt-tools on Ubuntu 18.04
To uninstall only the fxt-tools
package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove fxt-tools
Uninstall fxt-tools And Its Dependencies
To uninstall fxt-tools
and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu 18.04, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove fxt-tools
Remove fxt-tools Configurations and Data
To remove fxt-tools
configuration and data from Ubuntu 18.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge fxt-tools
Remove fxt-tools configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove fxt-tools
